Tagworth

Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 July 2026

Tagworth helps you estimate the second-hand resale value of your belongings. This policy explains what we do — and don't do — with your data.

No account, no tracking

Tagworth does not require an account. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not serve ads, and we do not link any data to your identity.

Photos are processed transiently

When you appraise an item, the photo (or your text description) is sent to our server and on to our AI provider solely to identify the item and generate an estimate. We do not store your photos on our servers, we do not use them to train models, and we do not share them with anyone other than the AI provider that performs the appraisal.

Your data stays on your device

Your scan history, Treasure Total, and settings are stored locally on your device only. You can wipe all of it at any time from Settings → "Clear my data". The only thing our servers keep is the small anonymous usage record described below.

Anonymous usage counters

To enforce fair free-tier limits and control costs, our server stores a small usage record keyed to a random device identifier: how many free scans have been used, when the weekly free scan unlocks, and whether the one-time share bonus has been claimed. This record contains no photos, no scan results, and no personal information, and it cannot be linked to your identity.

Purchases

Tagworth Pro is sold through Apple's App Store — payment is processed by Apple, and we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to check whether your device has an active Pro subscription. RevenueCat receives only the same random device identifier and your purchase state from Apple — never your name, email, or payment information.

Valuations are estimates

Valuations are AI-generated estimates based on recent market data. They are not professional appraisals, and actual sale prices vary.
